Inkspired Challenge No. 139

 Inkspired Sketch Challenge No. 139

Hello and welcome to the Blog Hop. Can't wait to see how everyone uses the sketch.

First, I used the Tasteful Textile folder to emboss a panel which I attached to a white card base. For the first of two smaller panels, I embossed the Evening Evergreen with the Painted Texture embossing folder.
To create the image panel, I used the Stamparatus to stamp a piece of Designer Series Paper from In Good Taste. The Simply Succulents images were stamped twice, first in Soft Succulent and then in Versamark. Using clear embossing powder, I then heat embossed the image before repositioning the stamp and repeating the process.
The front white label from the Potted Succulents dies has been embossed with Tasteful Textile and the inside one was left plain. It was stamped using Evening Evergreen. The front sentiment was heat embossed and cut with the strip die from the Floral Gallery set. Some twine to dress things up and a stamped strip for the inside and the card is complete.
Apologies for the poor photography. Bad lighting on a miserable rainy day. Wherever I used Evening evergreen card stock or ink, it appears black.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the contributions. Next to visit is Teresa Irwin.
Till next time take care of yourself.

  1. Julie, love the way you have combined the black/white DSP with the new green in-colours. Very pretty card!
